We did it!

We have great news!!

We have qualified for the finals of the F1 in schools challenge in Griffith College in Dublin on the 7th of April. We are the only school in Limerick that have qualified for the finals and one of only 5 schools from the South West region

The regional finals were held in the University of Limerick on the 11th of March. We had to meet 8 judges throughout the day, including a 15 minute presentation and question and answer session. The highlight of the day was when team member Ellen raced our car. We won our individual race 3-1 and our car was one of the fastest  cars there. The car completed the 20 meters in a time of 1.283 seconds. This was only 0.1 seconds behind the fastest car in the competition.We’ll upload a few pictures of the day soon.
